Story

Turquoise is the color associated with Isfahan, the capital of the Seljuks and Safavids, for over a thousand years. The beautiful celestial domes of the ancient city's palaces and mosques are all decorated with glittering turquoise blue tiles. As such, the color is the one most prized on the city's carpets but it is hard to find. Most antique Isfahan carpets bear combinations of cream, red and dark blue.

This makes this superb turquoise pair all the more beautiful, rare and demanded. The photo is a trompe l'œuil: both carpets are depicted. Can you spot both?

Perfect condition and amazing!
